Tint’s Liberation

This city was built not by a king, not by a company, but by its people. Each family work hard together as one great community for one common goal, to make a home to be proud of. Today I see these families have grown into noble factions each with ideals, goals and believes all different but at their hearts the same. To make this community strong, and proud. Never forget this, for when times are tough that is when you will all need each other the most. Differences might try to tear you apart, but what makes all of you truly noble factions is the ability to put these differences aside and work together for the common good.

Crown of Tangsgym

Long live the King. Glory shall smile on his Kingdom

Beliefs
  • Honour for the King shall bring Honour onto you.

Description

The Kingdom of Tangsgym is a fledgling kingdom ruled over by the Noble King Dahl the last known descendant of the Great Five. This Kingdom was founded in the last years of the fourth age and began on the path towards honour liberty and freedom. The kingdom itself is overruled by a Archcouncil of four and protected by the many factions of the kings men. The kings men are split into several factions and protect the rule of the king throughout the kingdom. However their are many other governing bodies of the king that specialise their protection of the kings will in their separate ways.

Prince’s Trust

The Prince’s Trust is a newly founded fellowship with the focus of bringing opportunities of the benefit of the king to adventurers across the kingdom. Their goal is liberty through unity bringing all peoples of Tangsgym under one banner for the common good. The faction is run by Lord Thomas Esquire (Squire) Prince of the western riding.

Raven guard

The raven guard are an enigmatic organisation providing military intelligence and special operations to the kingdom of Tangsgym. While their goals are kept in secret they are often seen protecting the kingdom from corruption, evil and malice. Their actions move swiftly in the shadows and their voices fly softly on the winds only ever whispering of the myth of the Raven.

Golden Guard

The golden guard are King Dahl’s chosen knights protecting the lands, saving the innocent and honouring all that is good under the name of the Archcouncil. They fight the good fight and are the very soul of the kingdom. They honour the traditions of old and journey onwards onto the dawn making the world a better place.

Description

The house of Ivy Thorne was one of the original founding families of Tint establishing the college long ago. Upon the return of Archmage Tint, he appointed Ortis Ivythorne the lord protector of Tint in his absence. At the dawn of the 5th age Ortis Ivythorne was anointed Duke of the Drechlands establishing his house as the first noble house of Tint. during the cataclysmic horrors of the aurora, Ortis passed away in the great flood leaving his wife Alicia Ivythorne as the Duchess of the Drenchlands. Soon after she appointed her son the Earl of Tint, extending their influence through the powerful factions of Tint. As the kings representatives in the south western provinces they have the responsibility of governing the lands through their many organisations.

Kings Watch

The kings watch are the city guards, bearing the emblem of the king governed by the house of Ivythorne. The kings watch keep the peace, guard the noble houses and protect the houses of justice. Many of the kings watch are men from the kings army brought in to protect the city, however some are hired mercenaries filling up the ranks where necessary. The guards are spread thin over a busy city and are always looking for assistance on a few missions.

Lord’s Council

The lords council has been established by Earl Theodore Ivythorne Lord Mayor of Tint as a governing body of the city made up of influential faction representatives. The lords govern the individual boroughs and debate new laws for the city with the Earl. How much influence the lords have over the city is uncertain but they are always looking for ways to gain more.

Freemasons

  • You are the master of your own destiny. Never be less than what you deserve to be.

  • We will reclaim the dwarvern clan’s former glory.
Description

Freemasons are a society of dwarves concerned with specific moral and spiritual values. Its members are taught its principles by a series of ritual dramas which follow ancient forms, and use stonemasons’ customs and tools as allegorical guides. Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation that traces its origins to the local fraternities of stonemasons, which were forged in the very heart of the dwavern kingdom of Vilhelmi. They were formed as a protection from the subjugation of the masses by the tyrannical dwarvern lords. Their practices are kept behind closed doors and are acted in secret meetings. Their known goals are to bring the lost dwarvern heritage back to its former glory by reuniting the old clans. Their are a few clans that currently exist in Tint.

Thunderclan

The Thunderclan are an old dwarvern clan that originate from the mountains of Gax. The dwarvern clan was destroyed by the onslaught of the giants and their treasured artefacts were lost. Their goal is to find their forgotten culture and one day return to the mountains and reclaim their home.

Kitsualtson’s

The Kitsualtson’s are dwarfs of the under mountain that came from the destroyed city of New Kitsualt. They are a clan of dwarves that aim to establish themselves in the new world respecting the old world they have left behind. They wish to reunite the refugee dwarves under their banner and reclaim their clan.

Description

The guild masters are a union of guilds that have united under the common order. The faction is ruled by each of the respective guild leaders and controlled through democratic governance. The guilds trace their foundations back long before the foundations of Tangsgym and have evolved into a great and resourceful organisation. Their aims are to unify all professionals under to guidance of the guilds. The guild masters are said to have a reach beyond the kingdom unifying internationally. Their is a huge variety of guilds within the guild masters controll all can be found represented within the great Guild Hall in the heart of Eastfell. The guilds are always looking for more members and always have opportunities for newcomers.

  • All other pantheons exist, but as children to the ancient pantheon.
  • Unity is the key to harmony in this chaotic world.
Description

The almanac is a collective of united religions all spreading their faith through the one belief that all their gods exist as children of the Ancient pantheon. The centre of the almanac exists within the golden citadel of Haaver. The many religions of the almanac may have many disputes and disagreements but it is the union of good will that keeps them going. All religions are free to worship as they believe within the almanac but all follow a code of conduct to protect and cherish anyone within the almanac.

Arcane Order

Knowledge brings integrity, power brings temptation.

Beliefs
  • One can never have too much information or arcane knowledge.
  • Too much power leads to corruption, and the abuse of magic in particular must be closely monitored.
  • No one should be powerless.
Description

The arcane order is said to have been established by the one of the great wizards of annex long since passed. They are a collective of wizards protecting the sanctity of knowledge and forwarding the cause of magic. The arcane order is guided by the circle of eight, eight great wizards protecting the lands of Dragolin from imbalance. The order wishes magic to be available to all but not to be abused by anyone. Magic is an art not a weapon, a force not a political regime and anyone who openly wishes to imbalance the natural order of this force will face the Arcane Order.

Description

The Church follows the virtues left behind by the Great Five and is guided by their tenants. The church does not believe in a deity more than the divinity of humanity. The willingness of humanity to do good can bring about a divine power within the souls of these priests. They use their powers to protect humanity, govern their laws and bring justice to the unjust. Within the city of Tint the church has the power of the law and its high priests are the Judges. Through faith comes honour, through law comes justice.

  • The free market and a fair economy brings a greater balance to the world.
Description

The traders ring is an organised federation of traders established to unionise and legitimise trade within Tangsgym. The ring provides a trustworthy organisation for people to trade with import things through and export things out of the kingdom. The combined resources of the traders collective gives more security to trades and brings efficiency of production and distribution to merchants. Not all merchants going the organisation but most find it a huge benefit. Many goods and services are exchanged through the collective and distribute to and from the key traders.
