Description

Formally lands belonging to Grizalin, the Kingdom of Tangssgym is the most recent addition to the land of Dragolin. Upon proving his innocence and bloodline to the court of Great Grizalin, earl-tangssgym-dahl was granted his own kingdom as per the laws of The Great Five. As such the town of Melford and its surrounding lands were pronounced the kingdom of Tangssgym and Earl crowned King Dahl. As a fledgeling kingdom, Tangssgym is currently more of an independant city-state, encompassing the lands of the forest pass at the border of Haaver and Grizalin, which also includes the Shrine of the Oracle.

Culture

The lands of Melford originated as a trading post town, and upon the emerging population boost developed into a great multicultural city. With the Underlands refugees claiming their home here the culture of the kingdom has overgrown and evolved from its original Grizalin roots. The people of Tangsgym are a mixture of slick traders and hard working crafters. Due to its trading roots the society is a multi cultural place of many mixed faiths and believes. The primary faith in the kingdom is mainly the Faith of the Five. However with each mix of different cultures several religions have taken hold. As with the rise of the nation and the housing of several thousand refugees the rise of new opportunities has taken place. Tangssgym is a kingdom of trades imports and exports, dealing with the inter-trading of other kingdoms and the construction of secondary and terry resources.

History

Melford originated as a small humble village with minor problems. At the breakout of the war between Blackwall and Grizalin Melford on the edge of Grizzard rule became an target for potential conquest. Fortunately a band of adventurers soon to be called The Melford Four came to the village and brought protected it tom the up evils of war. As time moved on their influence over the village and resources improved the town into a small trade post that grew into a prosperous town. Making the land bountiful and glorious.

soon that all changed. As the kingdom of Grizzard hunted down The Melford Four for un committed crimes, they went into hiding for years. Saving the kingdom from beep underground uncovering the secrets below. As for Grizzard they began taking the bounty of this land destroying me ford’s prosperity in the process. Grizzard’s war had finally reached this side of the world and melfords lands was at the mercy of war on all sides. Crime grew and malice consumed the town as the Town finally took stand. Through independence in the light of a kingdom that abandoned them they stuck together and brought prosperity back to the town. they united the villages around them to establish a greater trade post for the kingdom. Hope was in sight, but still the kingdom took its bounty.

Until one day where the The Melford Four emerged one again revealing their true place in this world. Upon proving his innocence and bloodline to the court of Great Grizalin, earl-tangssgym-dahl was granted his own kingdom as per the laws of The Great Five. As such the town of Melford and its surrounding lands were pronounced the kingdom of Tangssgym and Earl crowned King Dahl. Once again the The Melford Four guided this town to new prosperity as a kingdom has now risen.
